We regret to inform you that Prof. Kopylov unexpectedly passed away on December, 25.

Prof. Kopylov was the head of the laboratory of superconducting technology at the Joint Institute of High Temperature, RAS, Moscow, Russia. He made significant contributions to power applications of superconductivity including SMES, fault current limiters, transmission cables. It is a great loss for our community.
